We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves working in various settings, including medical offices, home community care, and specialized treatments such as ophthalmology and case management. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and delivering high-quality nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including phlebotomy and airway management.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on evolving health needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and infection control.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Must have experience in completing in-home care assessments.
- Experience in home community care is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in case management practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to nursing best practices.
