Job Summary
A Clinician is a licensed mental health professional who assesses, diagnoses and treats individuals experiencing psychological, emotional and behavioral changes. They provide therapeutic services to individuals, families and groups in various settings. In this role, Clinicians will act as mental health experts giving the agency and its staff clinical guidance needed to reach goals as it relates to client progress and efficacy. Clinicians will be responsible for completing comprehensive clinical assessments for clients during intake and changes throughout their time receiving services within your agency. Clinicians must have active state licenses and npi/nctracks in good standing.
What You’ll Do
As the Clinician (Therapist), you will complete comprehensive clinical assessments within 3 days of intake receipt, complete addendums as needed, serve as a clinical expert as needed from QP or staff, provide trainings as you see fit, update owners and QPs of state or federal changes you believe will impact clients served.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Develop individualized short-term goals and interventions that will impact the individuals
● Conduct clinical and employee supervisory visits, ensuring highest standards of care and compliance.
● Provide ongoing development plans and annual performance evaluation for Paraprofessional staff.
● Maintain accurate documentation, and resolve grievances
● Work closely with professionals and other team members to provide
comprehensive care guidance as needed
● Involved in providing training
● Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques support to QP and staff as needed

● Ability to develop rapport with individuals and other professionals in a variety of settings.
● Ability to set boundaries with individuals.
● Excellent clinical skills, including evidence-based practice, diagnostic information (DSM 5), substance use intervention
● Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. ● Comfortable working independently in the community.
● Excellent oral and written communication.
● Ability to manage crisis situations both in person and over the phone ● HIPAA specific confidentiality and privacy rights
● Clear and concise documentation containing treatment
