A Personal Care Attendant is responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities to individuals who need support due to aging, illness, or disability. This includes assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders. They may also provide companionship and emotional support to help improve the quality of life for their clients.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience in providing personal care assistance to individuals with disabilities or elderly clients.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
5. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
6. Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and transfers.
7. Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
