A Personal Care Aide provides assistance to individuals who are unable to perform daily tasks on their own due to aging, illness, injury, or disability. They may help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Personal Care Aides also provide companionship and emotional support to their clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and patience to work with individuals in need of care
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
Personal / Direct Support Staff are responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. They may assist with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and transportation. Direct Support Staff also provide emotional support, companionship, and assistance with communication and social interactions. They work closely with clients to help them achieve their personal goals, maintain their independence, and improve their quality of life.
Requirements:
-Must 1 year of caregiving experience
-Patience and compassion
-Must have current CPR and First Aid Certifications or be willing to complete upon hire
-Must possess the minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Must be able to successfully pass a Background Screening, TB screening and Physical
